Witness Abdiwakil Mohamed described hearing three gunshots while driving on La Salle Avenue, noting a police officer shot in their squad car, which then collided with another vehicle.
Mohamed reported the shooter fired from a high position in a nearby building, targeting people on the ground. He observed an officer checking for chest wounds after removing their vest. Police arrived quickly from every direction, he detailed.
