The controversy stems from an incident on an American Airlines flight in May, according to a report by TMZ. Another passenger raised concerns about Thornton’s behavior, prompting law enforcement to meet the flight at Los Angeles International Airport. However, reports indicate Thornton was not detained.

The airline confirmed, “On May 14, American Airlines Flight 1276 was met by law enforcement upon arrival following concerns reported by a customer onboard.”
