Paris Jackson recently provided insight into growing up with her father, Michael Jackson. Despite their unique circumstances, he enforced rules to maintain a sense of normalcy for his children.

The late pop icon ensured his children completed homework and chores before enjoying weekend activities. This included limiting their TV and movie time and requiring masks in public for privacy. “If you’re good, and you do your chores…then on the weekends you can go see some animals, and you can go ride some rides,” Paris explained on the “Call Her Daddy” podcast.

“The attractions at Neverland were not for us,” she noted, highlighting her father’s philanthropy towards underprivileged and terminally ill children.

The family often moved and rarely stayed anywhere for more than a year. Michael’s rule remained: complete responsibilities first for weekend adventures, whether it was Circus Circus in Las Vegas or Chuck E. Cheese in another location.

Paris remembered wearing masks in public to enjoy anonymity and normalcy. “If you do this now, then you can go to Chuck E. Cheese… ’cause no one will know who you are,” she recalled, acknowledging her father’s fame but not fully grasping its magnitude.

Post-Michael Jackson’s 2009 death, Paris has embraced a career in entertainment. She has dabbled in modeling, acting, and in 2020 released her debut album, “Wilted,” with Republic Records. Her brothers, Prince and Bigi, also pursued careers in the entertainment industry.
