The U.S. Central Command announced that over the span of two hours, American forces targeted multiple sites linked to Iran’s Revolutionary Guard Corps. These strikes hit military command centers, missile and drone facilities, and coastal surveillance installations.

The escalation followed Iranian missile attacks on a U.S. base in Jordan, prompting U.S. President Donald Trump to declare a strong response against Iran. Iranian state media reported two injuries from attacks on the island of Qeshm in the Strait of Hormuz and explosions in the Khuzestan province.

In another significant development, the U.S., collaborating with Saudi Arabia, struck Iran-backed militias in Iraq on Wednesday. This attack resulted in the deaths of at least 20 militia members and six Iranian advisers.

On the maritime front, drone strikes caused fires on two natural gas vessels at the Egyptian port of Damietta. One was a U.S.-owned floating storage facility, and the other, a Greek-owned tanker. The party responsible for these strikes remains unidentified, and no injuries were reported.
