Authorities Search for Missing California Siblings Allegedly Taken by Father

Authorities in California are urgently searching for two 9-year-old children reportedly taken by their father. Concerns about their safety have prompted an appeal for public assistance in locating them.

Details of the Incident

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department is actively seeking Solomon and Marozhina Sukonick. Investigators believe their father, David Sukonick, abducted them on Thursday.

The children were last sighted around 8 p.m. near the 1000 block of West Avenue J-8 in Lancaster. They were reportedly in a black 2011 Lincoln Town Car bearing the California license plate SOLOYST.

Description of the Children

Marozhina Sukonick is a white girl, approximately 4 feet, 4 inches tall, weighing about 90 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes. At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing pink shorts and a white shirt.

Solomon Sukonick, also 9, is a white boy of the same height and weight as his sister. He has brown hair and brown eyes and was last seen in blue shorts and an unknown-colored shirt.

Information About the Father

David Sukonick is described as a 71-year-old white man standing 5 feet, 7 inches tall and weighing 135 pounds. He has brown hair and green eyes.
