Dallas Cowboys outside linebacker Charles Snowden received a three-game suspension for the 2026 NFL season. This was reported through the league’s transactional wire on Tuesday.
An NFL spokesperson verified to Fox News Digital that the suspension stems from Snowden’s DUI arrest in 2024. He recently resolved the matter by accepting a plea agreement.
Due to the suspension, Snowden will miss the Cowboys’ games against the New York Giants, Washington Commanders, and Baltimore Ravens.

Snowden will still participate in the Cowboys’ preseason. This includes three preseason games. The suspension begins once NFL teams finalize their 53-man rosters.
The linebacker, now 28, resolved the DUI arrest from 2024 in January, agreeing to a plea deal.
Snowden pleaded no contest to a misdemeanor DUI charge. His agreement involves paying a $1,000 fine and attending courses for DUI and at the coroner’s.

If Snowden completes the required courses, his charge will be reduced to reckless driving.
Every since signing with the Cowboys this offseason, Snowden joined the team following a minicamp tryout. He entered the league as an undrafted free agent from Virginia and began with the Chicago Bears in 2021. He only played in two games, sitting out the entire 2022 and 2023 regular seasons.

Snowden played for the Las Vegas Raiders in 2024 and 2025. His most productive season was last year, with three sacks, 28 combined tackles, five tackles for loss, and one interception in 15 games, nine of which he started.
