Caitlin Clark continues to make her mark as one of the league’s standout stars, setting records at an impressive pace. During Sunday’s game, the Indiana Fever secured a decisive 109-75 victory over the Las Vegas Aces.

Clark achieved a remarkable milestone by recording her 600th career assist, doing so in a mere 72 games to set a new WNBA standard. Although her performance was not considered stellar, she contributed 12 points, seven rebounds, and six assists, all while on a minutes restriction due to a back injury.

“I feel good. Had a hard workout day after the Phoenix game. Felt great there, and then obviously, we had practice yesterday. So, feel ready to go, and excited to play 25 minutes, and excited for my spurts to be a little bit longer, so that should be fun,” Clark said to reporters.

Despite her limited playtime, the Fever dominated with help from teammates Kelsey Mitchell, Aliyah Boston, and Sophie Cunningham. Mitchell led the scoring with 27 points, Boston added 19 points and 11 rebounds, and Cunningham delivered 20 points, hitting six three-pointers.

Clark reached her historic assist in the third quarter with a precise bounce pass to Monique Billings for an inside layup, helping expand their lead.

While Clark’s minutes are managed carefully, her stats are projected to rise as her minutes increase. She recorded over half her career assists during an impressive rookie year—337 assists—and despite injuries in 2025, still contributed 115 assists. This season adds another 148 assists, averaging 7.8 assists per game, second to Alyssa Thomas from the Phoenix Mercury.

Clark’s contributions affirm her status in the league, showcasing her talent and resilience amid challenges.
