Murphy, Argentina, is a small town nestled deep in the pampas. Yet, it is here that the unique path of the U.S. men’s soccer team began, guided by the vision and leadership of coach Mauricio Pochettino.
Mauricio Pochettino, who hails from this tranquil locale, views soccer as more than just a sport. He often speaks of it as ingrained with a kind of mystical energy, inspiring and driving him beyond the borders of his hometown.
His influence now extends to the U.S. men’s national team. Recently, after a victorious match against Paraguay in the World Cup’s opening, Pochettino was seen celebrating energetically, a clear indication of his passion and commitment.

Under his guidance, the unorthodox methods he has imparted to the American team seem promising. These strategies could very well pave the way for the team’s success in what many consider its most promising World Cup opportunity to date.
