Working as a medical assistant at a women’s health clinic, I witness the crucial nature of postpartum months. Numerous patients return weeks post-delivery, facing unexpected complications, uncertain about whom to approach or how to afford necessary care. It is during this time that questions emerge, complications become evident, and recovery begins. Unfortunately, many women face the risk of losing essential coverage needed for accessing care.
