The New York Knicks have taken a 2-0 lead in the NBA Finals against the San Antonio Spurs. With the series moving to Madison Square Garden for Game 3, anticipation among the fans is high as they edge closer to a championship win for the first time since 1973.
Fans’ enthusiasm was evident following their Game 2 victory on June 5, 2026. New York City witnessed a sea of celebrations, with thousands gathering inside and outside Madison Square Garden. Some fans’ exuberance led to arrests for climbing light poles and other structures.
Amidst the excitement, an unusual event underscored the fervor. An OnlyFans model received a Patrick Ewing jersey from a Knicks fan. She was then paid to create a ten-minute video where she danced in it. The model, Courtney Tillia, explained, “It was a custom request, meaning the content was made specifically for [the Ewing fan]. I charge $150 for every five minutes of a custom video, and this was a 10-minute clip, so I made $300.”
Despite the celebratory spirit, some question if the Knicks’ confidence may be premature. However, Tillia emphasized that her role as a content creator is separate from the team’s performance. “That kind of pressure can’t be placed on a content creator. She’s just doing her job here,” she noted.
Tillia, who has attended events such as Teatro’s Golden Soirée and the Maxim Hot 100 party, appreciates the enthusiasm of New York fans. “I love New York, and I love New York fans, and so I was happy to do any Knicks-related content,” she added. “The happier my fans are when their team is winning, the better [the business] for me.”
While the team displays an unstoppable form, some prefer to reserve celebrations until a definite victory. Yet, for Knicks fans at this moment, their confidence is a sentiment difficult to contain.
