Kazuchika Okada and Konosuke Takeshita faced off in a much-anticipated rematch. This event took place at Worlds End in December during the Continental Classic semifinals. Their rivalry had been building for months.
The match was held at All Elite Wrestling (AEW)’s Double or Nothing event in New York. Okada’s International Championship was on the line.
Konosuke Takeshita emerged victorious at AEW Double or Nothing in Queens on May 24, 2026. The match was intense and fast-paced. Neither wrestler stayed down for long, keeping the audience on edge.
The crowd at Louis Armstrong Stadium expressed their excitement with chants of “Fight forever!” as the wrestlers traded blows.
Okada performed a Tombstone Piledriver on Takeshita and followed with the Rainmaker. However, Takeshita quickly regained his composure and countered with his version of the Rainmaker.
Takeshita ended the match with his move, Raging Fire, securing the win. This victory marked his second AEW International Championship.
However, Takeshita’s celebration was short-lived. The Don Callis Family appeared ready to disrupt the moment. Kyle Fletcher unexpectedly entered the ring, initially congratulating Takeshita.
Soon after, Fletcher attacked Takeshita with a clothesline and used the belt as Rocky Romero and Mark Davis restrained him. Fletcher’s actions showed his allegiance to the Don Callis Family.
