Media Satirizes Natalie Harp’s Loyalty to Trump

President Trump’s executive assistant, Natalie Harp, has been mocked on ‘Saturday Night Live’ and ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’ recently. Her close relationship with Trump has drawn criticism from political figures. Democratic Senator Jon Ossoff previously accused the president of prioritizing travel with Harp over his duties.

White House spokesman Davis Ingle defended Harp, telling Newsweek: “Natalie Harp is one of the most loyal and hardworking aides on President Trump’s team. The media’s continued attacks are why trust in media remains low. They should focus on reporting real news.”

Portrayals on Comedy Shows

Saturday Night Live

On September 26, Harp was portrayed by Ashley Padilla in a sketch on ‘Saturday Night Live’. Harp’s character interrupted a meeting between Trump and New York Mayor Zohran Mamdani. In the sketch, Trump described her, humorously comparing her to the character from the 2025 movie ‘Obsession’.

Jimmy Kimmel Live

Harp was also satirized on ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’. Kimmel introduced “my assistant Natalie,” played by Molly McNearney. Natalie, in the skit, expressed devotion, asking if Kimmel needed “any Truths” posted, alluding to Trump’s social media platform, Truth Social.

The skit ended with Kimmel asking Guillermo Rodríguez to take Harp “back stage,” which led to more comedic exchanges about her proximity to Kimmel.

Natalie Harp’s Career

Harp gained Trump’s attention in 2019 with a LinkedIn post about his Right to Try Act aiding her cancer treatment. She spoke at the 2020 Republican National Convention and worked with One America News Network until 2022. Later she worked at Mar-a-Lago, known as “the human printer,” for regularly printing materials for Trump.

During the 2024 presidential election, she served as Trump’s gatekeeper, as noted in Michael Wolff’s book ‘All or Nothing: How Trump Recaptured America.’ She joined him in the White House as an executive assistant in 2025.

Loyalty to President Trump

Harp is recognized for her loyalty to Trump. The Daily Beast disclosed letters where she expressed how important Trump was to her. In another letter, she apologized for chasing Trump’s golf cart in Scotland, saying: “I want things to always be right between us.”

Recently, she was seen showing Trump something on her laptop at a football game. Social media dismissed viral photos purporting to show them kissing as AI-generated fakes due to anomalies.

Harp joined Trump on a trip to Ireland. A photo of her at the U.S. ambassador’s residence surfaced online, commented on by journalist Aaron Rupar. The White House’s response addressed these posts with a strong defense of Harp’s role as part of Trump’s team.
