Law enforcement agencies in Washington, D.C. are ramping up their efforts to locate Antoinette Forbes, who has been missing for more than a week. Forbes, 53, serves as associate vice president and head of public affairs at pharmaceutical company Eli Lilly.

Her family, friends, and authorities have been actively searching for her since she was last spotted on September 4 in the 3200 block of Nebraska Avenue NW. The Metropolitan Police Department is calling on the public to assist in the search for Forbes, whose case has been designated as critical.

The National Presbyterian Church, where Forbes is a member, released a statement overnight expressing concern over her disappearance under “mysterious circumstances from her home.”

Forbes is described as an Asian woman, standing 5 feet 2 inches tall and weighing approximately 115 pounds. She has black hair and brown eyes. Her clothing at the time she vanished remains unknown.
