“John Thune should not allow the United States Senate to ‘leave town’ until it passes The Save America Act or … TERMINATES THE FILIBUSTER,” Trump declared on Truth Social.

Trump has expressed frustration over Senate Majority Leader John Thune’s handling of the bill. Tensions are rising, with Trump warning that the Senate’s failure to pass the bill will impact Republicans at the ballot box.

Growing GOP Rift and Upcoming Elections

Trump’s call to action coincides with growing tensions within the GOP. As midterm elections approach, Republicans aim to campaign on their recent tax cut package. However, global issues like the conflict in Iran and domestic affordability concerns pose challenges.
