The statements were made during a livestream on the Kick platform, coinciding with celebrations by Egyptian fans after their World Cup victory over Australia. Fox News reported on the incident, noting that Sneako, whose real name is Nicolas Kenn De Balinthazy, has over a million followers on a major streaming platform and converted to Islam in 2023.

During the June 3 livestream, Sneako was amidst celebrating Egypt supporters, with visible drums, horns, and flags. He shouted “Allahu Akbar” and made bold claims about Islam’s future presence in households worldwide. He mentioned New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani, the city’s first Muslim mayor, in his remarks.

Sneako said, “This is the Islamic Republic of New York-istan. Islam will be in every household. Inshallah the whole world will be Muslim.”

Following his statements, Alex Jones, founder of InfoWars, demanded Sneako’s deportation. Elon Musk reacted with a simple “Yes!” Sneako did not distance himself from his comments. Instead, he furthered the controversy with posts like, “Every knee will bow. Every tongue confess,” and told Musk to “go back to Africa.”

Musk reacted to concerns raised by author Gad Saad, calling the situation “Troubling.” Many others on social media expressed harsh disapproval, suggesting Sneako should be sent to Iran or calling him derogatory names.
