Four individuals were hospitalized after a tree fell near the entrance of Six Flags Over Georgia during intense weather conditions on Sunday. The Austell area was affected by strong storms, leading to this incident, as confirmed by Six Flags Over Georgia.

During severe weather that affected the park, medical staff and local EMS attended to four guests hit by a fallen tree near the park’s entrance.

These guests were taken to a nearby hospital for further checks. This event followed the issuance of a severe thunderstorm warning by the National Weather Service as the storms passed through metro Atlanta.

Witness accounts and videos on social media depicted emergency vehicles such as fire trucks and ambulances at the park’s entrance. First responders were seen managing downed trees and large branches.

On Facebook, one user described the day as “a relaxing day at Six Flags,” which turned into disarray due to a sudden storm. Posting on Reddit, users shared images of a large fallen tree, claiming it had rested on the Mindbender roller coaster track.

Six Flags has not yet provided information on the condition of the four affected individuals nor on any damage to attractions or disruptions to park operations.

A similar weather-related incident was reported where strong winds at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida, injured five people. A metal cabana frame collapsed due to the winds, impacting a pool area crowded with guests.

Videos of this occurrence showed guests and staff working together to assist trapped individuals before emergency personnel arrived. Reports noted that five people sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were taken to Memorial Regional Hospital.
