Detroit Lions’ Terrion Arnold Arrested in Connection with Alleged Kidnapping and Robbery

Detroit Lions cornerback Terrion Arnold was recently arrested in relation to an alleged kidnapping and robbery case from February. The Tampa Police Department disclosed this information on Wednesday night.

Six other individuals were previously arrested linked to a “targeted armed robbery” described by police. Arnold surrendered himself and was detained at Orient Road Jail in Hillsborough County. He faces charges for four counts of kidnapping and four counts of armed robbery.

“We are aware of the matter and have been in contact with the club. We have no further comment at this time,” stated an NFL spokesperson to Fox News Digital.

The Detroit Lions have yet to provide a response to the situation.

The investigation revealed that Arnold rented an Airbnb in Largo, Florida, shared with his co-defendants Arianna Del Valle, Jasmine Randazzo, Lyndell Hudson II, Christion Williams, Boakai Hilton Jr., and Freddie Hughes. Other individuals also stayed at the property.

Authorities reported that on February 4, three male victims in their late teens suffered visible injuries. They were allegedly assaulted, held at gunpoint, and robbed before being forced from a residence in Tampa.

The robbery allegedly stemmed from a theft incident at the same Airbnb on February 1, where Arnold believed two of the three victims were culprits. Tampa police later clarified that they were not involved.

On February 3, Arnold and others reported a loss of over $250,000 in stolen property to Largo authorities. Investigators claim Arnold and Hilton coordinated with Del Valle and Randazzo to lure one victim to an apartment.

Upon the victims’ arrival on February 4, Williams and Hudson, hidden inside, allegedly confronted and attacked them. Del Valle streamed these events to Arnold, Hilton, and Hughes, who were en route to the apartment.

Evidence from a group chat showed Arnold and Hilton giving directions during the assault. Later, Arnold and others arrived at the apartment, with some accused of stealing personal items during the attack.

The victims were eventually dismissed from the apartment, transported in their vehicle, and later reported the incident to the police.

Investigators suspect Arnold orchestrated the scheme based on collected evidence.

Arnold was drafted by Detroit with the No. 24 overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft. He played his rookie season in 2024, accumulating 10 passes defended and 60 combined tackles in 16 games. He recorded his first career interception this season against the Minnesota Vikings but was sidelined after eight games due to a shoulder injury.
