FOX One, in collaboration with the USO, is delivering live coverage of the World Cup 2026 to U.S. military personnel stationed overseas. This initiative lets service members follow Team USA while staying connected with their families back home.
USO Jordan operations specialists, Dundrey Peoples and Lindsay Gray, discussed this project on “Fox & Friends.” Gray emphasized the goal of creating a comfortable and familiar environment for the troops, stating, “We go where they go, trying to bring a little piece of home. Even in remote locations, we aim to make it feel homey, like a living room.”
FOX One provides access to live games, pregame coverage, highlights, and expert analysis. Every World Cup match is available live and on-demand through FOX One, streaming on FOX and FS1. This program boosts morale and fosters community among deployed service members, offering them a slice of home.
Peoples noted the positive impact, explaining, “They’re loving it. Initially, they were worried about how they’d watch and support Team USA. Thanks to FOX One, they’re able to enjoy the games, and the atmosphere is electrifying every night.”
An example of this connectivity is a service member in Japan watching a game between South Africa and Mexico while speaking with his mother in the U.S., experiencing the event together. Gray highlighted the importance of connection, saying, “Allowing service members to watch live events together helps them bond with family members back home.”
Earhardt conveyed support for the troops during the broadcast, encouraging service members and expressing the nation’s support and prayers for them. Fans can continue streaming all FIFA World Cup games on FOX One until the championship final on July 19.
