Baltimore Event Fosters Fatherhood and Community

The recent gathering at Cylburn Arboretum in Baltimore focused on challenging stereotypes and providing support to fathers. The event encouraged community engagement and resource sharing among dads.

Baltimore Mayor Brandon M. Scott, along with City Council member Paris Gray, led a stroller walk through the arboretum. The walk served as a symbolic gesture to signify active involvement in parenting and a commitment to building a supportive environment for families.

Among the attendees was Sean Branch Jr., who proudly pushed his 3-week-old son in a stroller. His black shirt featured purple lettering that read, “My First Father’s Day,” marking a personal milestone and highlighting the sentimental value of fatherhood. The event’s atmosphere was relaxed, aided by the pleasant weather, which added to the overall positive experience for the participants.
