Samantha Busch Expresses Gratitude for Support After Husband Kyle Busch’s Passing

Samantha Busch, wife of late NASCAR champion Kyle Busch, shared gratitude from her family after his passing at 41. She, along with their children Brexton and Lennix, posted a message on Instagram. They thanked everyone for the support received. “The prayers, messages, flowers, meals, hugs, and countless acts of kindness have carried us through these heartbreaking days,” Samantha wrote. She expressed how they felt divine support through the community’s kindness.

Kyle Busch died on May 21 due to severe pneumonia that led to sepsis. The family disclosed these details in a statement following his death. His death certificate indicated pneumonia affected him for “days to weeks.” His sudden death impacted the NASCAR community heavily.

Despite feeling unwell during a race at Watkins Glen on May 10, Busch competed. He won a Truck Series race at Dover and attended a go-kart track opening with his son Brexton shortly before his death. This reveals his dedication to the sport and his family up until the end.

Friday’s social media message marked the first statement from Samantha and their children. Samantha highlighted the comfort found in the love surrounding them. “Knowing Kyle’s impact and how people honor him showcases his special nature,” she noted. She expressed gratitude to all for their support and love, emphasizing how these acts have helped them through this challenging time.

Kyle Busch achieved significant success in NASCAR. He won Cup Series championships in 2015 and 2019 with Joe Gibbs Racing. He set a record with 234 combined victories across NASCAR’s top three national series. These include 63 Cup wins, 102 in the O’Reilly Auto Parts series, and 69 in the Trucks series. Kyle was also the younger brother of NASCAR driver Kurt Busch.
