A 36-year-old man suffered stab wounds following an altercation on a Chicago Transit Authority Blue Line train in the Loop, according to city police. The incident occurred just before 7:30 p.m. as the train was moving along the 500 block of South LaSalle Street. During the fight, the victim was stabbed in the neck and left side with a sharp implement.

The attacker fled the scene following the confrontation. The injured man was transported to Stroger Hospital, where his condition was reported as fair. Law enforcement is actively looking into the case to determine more details and potentially apprehend the suspect involved.
